Angels 4 Warmth Inc.
Welcome!
Weyburn 4 Warmth is a new project in 2025. Mimicking Angels 4 Warmth in Regina, the model is based on collecting donated yarn and fabric which is then redistributed to knitters, crocheters, sewers and quilters who make items of warmth from these donated materials. These items will be distributed back to the less fortunate in Weyburn and area through recognized charities or organizations.
Meetings:
Weyburn 4 Warmth will meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month, 1:00 p.m. at the Weyburn Public Library. Attendees will be able to pick up materials for new projects and submit completed items. These items will be distributed through existing charities or facilities in Weyburn such as Salvation Army, The Family Place, Southeast Advocates and care homes.
Donations:
Yarn and fabric will be collected continuously to provide a steady source of materials for the creators. Donations barrels are located at Weyburn Public Library and Collabartive Art Studio.
